Each service is typically 75 minutes with a time of dynamic worship, Bible-based teaching, communion and prayer. Our worship is designed to help you connect with God so we work hard to minimize the distractions so that you can focus on praising Him. In addition, our pastor teaches from the Bible every week, often verse by verse, so that you can understand God’s truth in a relevant and deep way. On the first Sunday of every month, we celebrate communion together as a church body, but communion is offered every week. Finally, we believe that prayer is foundational to who we are and an integral part of our worship experience so you are invited to pray at our prayer stations in the sanctuary at any time during the service.
We love kids at Church of the Savior and offer age-appropriate environments where your kids (Birth – 5th grade) will learn about Jesus and the Bible on their level. We have excellent children's and nursery workers who have passed all the necessary background requirements. We ask that you check your kids into our kids’ area so that your children can enjoy a service tailored specifically for their age group. If you'd feel more comfortable having your kids attend service with you, however, this is also acceptable.
Middle school and high school students are invited to join us in the worship service on Sunday mornings and can get even more connected through our Pursuit Student Ministry that meets on Sunday evenings at the church from 6pm to 8pm.
We really want you to come as you are. Many of us wear casual clothes at our services, although some of us dress up. We'd like to think you will be as comfortable in a T-shirt and jeans as you would be in a business suit.
We know that coming to a new church for the first time can be intimidating. We would love for you to stop by our Guest Services area when you arrive to ask any questions about who we are, to register your kids for our fantastic COS Kids program, or to meet someone who will help you find the doughnuts and coffee. We want you to feel welcomed…but even more than that we hope that you will feel at home.
