Glenn Cravens – Executive Pastor

From 1966 until 2002, Glenn Cravens had a successful career in the lodging industry. However, in 2002, God had other plans for Glenn as he sold his hotel and retired from the lodging industry. He then joined the staff of Church of the Savior, where he’d been a faithful part since its organization in 1988, on a part-time volunteer basis.

As a former hotel owner, who earned the CHA (Certified Hotel Administrator) designation through the American Hotel Motel Association and having served on the International Operators Council of Choice Hotels International, this gave Glenn excellent administrative skills and experience that God now wanted to use for ministry.

In 2003, he was hired part time as Executive Pastor and in January of 2005 that became a full time position for him. His duties include Pastoral Care, Missions Pastor, and Administration. Glenn has served Church of the Savior as Chairman of the Elders, Usher, Care Ministry Greeter, Evangelism and visitation team, and member of the missions committee. He has also served as a board member and a volunteer team leader with Go InterNational, a mission’s agency based in Wilmore, KY. In 2008, Glenn was ordained by the Elder Board of Church of the Savior.
