Getting Connected at Church of the Savior means participating in a small group. Small groups provide a setting to build relationships and apply Biblical principles to daily life. They allow COS to grow larger and smaller at the same time.
What are the groups about? Our groups are as varied as we are; group leaders use their gifts and passions to create a group that allows others to join them in the process.
The group meeting includes the following: Prayer, Bible Study, Fun fellowship. They meet in convenient locations and are made up of people who want to grow spiritually and develop meaningful relationships. Most groups complete their topic by the end of semester and take a break from the meeting after each semester. Food or snacks are a part of the group meetings. Each group leader decides childcare issues.
When can I join one? New groups start three times a year—Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters. You can simply find a group and sign up on Sunday using the Connection Card or anytime on our website!
How do I choose a group? Although groups have been placed in categories you can choose a group based on where you live, topic of interest, meeting time or stage of life.
