Overview:
Join us as we work alongside our Partner Ivan Galindo Paz at his church in Puerto Castilla, Honduras. We will be participating in children's ministry, construction projects, evangelism outreach, and a women's health conference. The team will work in Pastor Ivan’s community in Puerto Castilla as well as surrounding communities in the Trujillo area.
Requirements:
Participants should be in good health and have a willingness to serve as well as abide by cultural expectations of hosts. Passport expiration date CAN NOT be prior to March 7, 2025.
Schedule:
Our team will fly to San Pedro Sula, Honduras on Friday, August 30 and arrive around noon. We will then travel 8 hours by bus to Trujillo. On Saturday, August 31, we will prepare for the week of ministry by organizing all of the supplies for children's ministry, the women's conference, etc. Our team will attend a church service at Pastor Ivan's church on Sunday, September 1 and worship alongside our Honduran brothers and sisters.
From Monday, Sept 2-Thursday, September 5, our team will be involved in ministry outreach throughout Trujillo and the surrounding communities. On Thursday, September 6, our team will return by bus to San Pedro Sula and have an opportunity to go shopping. We will stay the night in San Pedro Sula and return to the United States on Saturday, September 7!
*This is a very basic itinerary for the week. The one thing you can be certain of on a mission trip is that the plans will change so it's important to be flexible!
