Sleeping Lambs

Did you know that there are kids in our community that don't have a bed to sleep in tonight?

The mission of Sleeping Lambs is to provide beds to elementary school-aged children who are sleeping on the floor.

In addition to a bed, each child receives:

• linens
• stuffed animal
• backpack
• pajamas
• socks & underwear
• toothbrush & toothpaste
• Jesus Storybook Bible

Volunteers pray over the beds, and they offer to pray with the families when beds are delivered.

Bed distribution is a special experience for the families which includes snacks, gifts, face painting, pictures with storybook characters, and surprising them with cheers as they walk in to the gymnasium to find their beds.

At our most recent event, in October 2024, 60 beds were distributed to families in need from Tates Creek and Millcreek elementary schools. An event in January of 2024 distributed beds to nearly 40 students from Lane Allen and Garden Springs elementary schools. CLICK HERE to learn more about that event.
