Sanctity of Life
Champions for Life
Two Hebrew midwives, Shiphrah and Puah, faced an impossible choice when Pharaoh commanded them to kill Hebrew baby boys at birth. Instead of obeying this evil decree, they chose to fear God more than man and secretly saved the babies' lives. Their courage represents the first biblical example of civil disobedience - refusing to follow human authority when it contradicts God's law. Despite facing potential death for their defiance, God honored their faithfulness by blessing them with families. Their story challenges us to be champions for life in our own generation, standing for what's right even when it costs us everything.
