Philippians
I Press On
Growth in faith is not automatic. It requires focus, effort, and a willingness to release what is behind. In Philippians 3:12-14, Paul paints a vivid picture of a runner leaning forward with everything he has, pressing toward the goal of Christlikeness. He openly admits he has not arrived, and that honesty is a sign of spiritual health, not weakness. God reached for us before we were even looking for Him, and our response is to strengthen our grip on the One who already holds us. The Christian life is not a solo journey. Community, focus, and a willingness to let go of the past are all essential to moving forward. Press on, one day at a time, toward the One who has a firm grip on you.
