Life operates on God's unchangeable principle of sowing and reaping - whatever we plant will eventually produce a harvest. Every seed we sow through our words, actions, and choices will return to us later and in greater measure. We must be intentional about planting good seeds like love, respect, prayer, and kindness while avoiding destructive seeds like fear, bitterness, and dishonesty. Tithing represents one of the most powerful applications of this principle, as it demonstrates our trust in God and opens heaven's windows of blessing over our lives. When we honor God with the first tenth of our income, He promises to rebuke the devourer and pour out blessings beyond our need.
